Just you IMO, very dreary, takes 3min 15secs to get going and when it does its kind of ploddy and pointless, no energy there at all. The guys voice is a bit cringe-worthy and the song doesn't have much of a hook.

The hook comes in at 49 seconds! As far as cringeworthy goes, that's another word for memorable. He reminded me of Leo Sayer.

But I'm not crazy about it either. It really should be re-arranged.

Love Ben's voice; quite like the sound of the group; not sure these are hit songs though.

Yes... but it isn't much of a hook is it?! Certainly didn't hook me anyway.

Cringe-worthy may be memorable but not in a good way.

Pointless IMO but expanding my comments on the ending, it sounds sequenced (over) and lacks life.

First of all, thanks for the tip. There is talent here for sure. However, there are some things to bear in mind:
1. The song is 4:30, which is way too long for a radio edit. Needs to be 3:30, absolute max. The chorus needs to happen in the first 30 seconds.
2. Would need a two month radio campaign, building local to regional to national. Too late now, but maybe next year?
3. The single needs to be "commercially available" before the nationals will touch it. Not remotely ready for R2 yet.
4. As pointed out by the others, things need re-arranging to bring out the "hit" that's hiding there.
5. Finally, as a demo, the site works and again, many thanks for sharing the material.

I don't share K's level of enthusiasm.
