I'm really enjoying the repeats of top of the pops on bbc4. However I can't understand why they would show the top of the pops from the corresponding week from 1978 twice in 3 weeks. This meant that there were 6 performances shown in both shows. This included 2 repeated performances from Legs & Co, Coco, The Boomtown Rats, and Hi-Tension. I never tire of seeing Legs & Co dancing to Night Fever in babydoll nighties, but I don't need to see the same performance twice. To add insult to injury, Pick of the Pops also played the same period from 1978, playing some of the same tracks. 1978 is one of my favourite years for music, but there are plenty of other great years, and we don't need to show the same songs
