Two new entries from The Fortunes, 'Hear Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again' at 9 and, in a fitting tribute to Rod Allen, 'Please Remember Me' at 18.

Tipsheet's own Mart enters at 20 with 'Eys To The Left', just behind The Alan Parsons Project at 20.

Ammp, at 17, bring us a decent and likeable Rock Ballad.

New Number One! Jackson Cook is 67 years Ken Dodd's junior and replaces him at the top.

Altogether an enjoyable chart. I'm not sure how many people actually bother following it, but I find it more varied and fun than the "official" chart.

Jackson Cook is truly horrible and I hope I never-ever hear it or anything remotely like it ever agian.

Fortunes... isn't that intro "Bend me shape me"? Glad to see them there and I like this song, not my favourite but I like it.

Gave up on Ammp.

Another Fortunes... didn't like this one.

Alan Parson, I like the retro and broad range of the FAB it's great, I like that more than I like this track.

Ahhh... more MArt I really like your voice (...oh dear can't you just feel the negative rippling toward you). It's an alright song, nicely retro I can see it would be enjoyed by peoples. It needs more lobster

Oh well, another zoo hurumph, hope to see Agent John on the FAB and then I can be all smiley-shiny-happy positive

How many people listen tot he FAB? Exactly the same as any chart, one at a time

"Eyes 2 the Left" fits nicely in with the retro element of the chart, I`m quite pleased. I tried all sorts of ways to get a retro sound in the past including recording on tapes, that track is digital but I think we cracked the retro thing on it using only three mics on the kit, going back to live hand-claps and leaving atmostpheric mics about to pick up background noises.

I was never sure what the Alan Parsons project was about before, so cheers for putting that one in there.

That is a very glam rock sound. I'm trying to decide who it's most like. Maybe a reflective mish mash of the whole glam era. The first band I thought of was Hello, but I can't recall any of their songs that sounded like Eyes 2 the Left. It would have probably been a hit around 1973.

I actually rather like the Jackson Cook song, once it gets going. Vocals could be better, but if he's been compared to Dylan and he writes his own stuff then it's cool.

Well I allways liked Hello, but the key watchword band on the whole of the new project is Mott the Hoople, I just allways wanted to make a record like their classics from the 70`s.
The closing track from the forthcoming album, which hopefully, puts it all in perspective, can be found here

,shortly after the albums release, watch out for a very special single.
