On a personal note, Ozzy and Sharon are two of the nicest people in the business. During my 2001 trial they sent me a huge bunch of flowers each day to my home, wishing me luck.

When you go to trial and prison. You soon know who your friends are.
After seeing Ozzy's performance, his voice is there, but his body is not. Sadly, it makes you wonder if he has had Parkinson's for decades, and it was not down to medication and drugs, which people put it down to 20 years ago. This is normally how long it takes for Parkinson's disease to show the true signs.
I thought the audience would be wild seeing Ozzy instead of standing there like lemons with phone in their hands.
Michael J Fox was unlucky to get it so young, after smoking huge amounts of pot that was contaminated.

Yes I was surprised too GM. Perhaps the real fans were priced out and most were casual "occasions" chasers? The audience looked static for the clip of Paranoid I saw...
Paranoid ffs!!!
I hate to say it Wyot, the real fans are probably pensioners who can't afford a loaf of bread even though it's got a yellow label on. Old Father Time does play catch up with everyone.
I wouldn't say it was an Ozzy/Sabbath gig but a one day metal festival celebrating Black Sabbath, with Ozzy saying his final goodbye live.
Looking at the audience many looked way too casual to be metal fans. It''s like Oasis, I love to know of the ratio true fans between causals, who want are going for the social media and to say "I was were there."
I thought about going just to see Slayer but it way too expensive and expenses like food, drinks and travelling does add up quickly. Pints are no longer cheap at most places.
I bet the irony is real Sabbath fans go to festivals like Thunderstruck, Rock 'n' Ribs, Rock Fest, Glastonbudget and Drunken Monkey.
I will say the Black Sabbath tributes will now be high in demand from now on. Like Wizzard of Oz, Sabbotage and Black Sabbitch.
I also agree, that many people who attend these things are chasers like people at Glasto, many of them are white middle class -faux hippies. They probably bitch about capitalism but have fancy phones, bespoke campervans all behind closed doors. They probably high fences and walls around their property. Glastonbury Festival has boarders and tight secruity it's a fortress.
