Ticket Stubs 3 Days, 17 Hours ago
After finishing a book earlier, I found an old ticket stub for Dave Edmunds gig back in the 80s. No doubt used as a bookmark from the previous owner.

I know people who do frame their ticket stubs with the tour flyer but it does look tacky IMHO.

You don't see many tour flyers, for every gig as it's all online and some venues are only open when there is gig on that day. Not full time like the old days.

Does anyone else keep ticket stubs or just bin them after the night is over? I tend to bin, my partner keeps hers for her memory box. She might buy the odd Tee shirt or mug to have on the wall or cabinet, if the price is right. I have not worn a band shirt for about 40 years, I do own a Motley Crue keychain for my car key, which is about as far as I go with owning band merch.

These days paper tickets are becoming a thing of the past due to etickets but not everywhere.

A couple of venues near me give people the option to tickets emailed or printed off.

I get tickets printed off, when I can.

phones can get lost or malfunction. Mind you venues won't be printing tickets forever.

I do miss the days when there there would be a clerk about behind a desk filing her nails just waiting for customers to book, then type hard on a clunky keyboard like it's an ex boyfriend; whilst chomping on gum.
