All I know is, I wanted to produce them and then someone else did, so I worked on other projects where I had the time previously put by for them.
I still hear from them occasionally though.

Yeah i believe they got together with a few managers but nothing has come of it so far, nice bunch of guys, i saw them at the betsey, and then at Industry, thought they were fab, they have some great songs and a lot of potential, they have developed nicely over the last few months, surely won't be long before someone gets behind them. Great commercial act, i speak to them every now and then, yeah i heard that martin wanted to produce them, and they were up for it, but they were with a very naiive manager at the time who thought he knew best!!
Best of luck to them, eyes peeled!!
Stevo.

Weren't they the one's doin the pop ska thing? Was very interesting, with the aid of a great producer, i thought they had a couple of hits, their writing etc has developed well over the past 6 months, as with most things, the right team guiding their career could mean big things.
Nice chaps aswell.

It's a shame if they missed out on Mart because the manager didn't go for it... it'd be cool if you'd give them a second chance Mart.

It'd be a shame if they simply fell between the cracks and disappeared.

I am still thinking on the subject, there are a couple of songs there that I think could do well.

The band are a classic example of what has happened to acts in the interim industry movements within the last 12 months, divided opinions have allways been harsh but notable more instantly harsh of late.

Therefore, I shall post this link up, again for new readers to peruse and TS regulars to revisit, and see what you all think. The key tracks we were and still are, interested in, were "Crossed the Line" and "Away Game".

I'll see you, your "Away Game" and "Crossed the line" and raise you 1 "Yeah, yeah"
The stand out track IMO.

No offense Mart but if you have to look for popular opinion - on a message board -then this isn't the act for you.

The Feeling, Scouting for Girls, The Hoosiers and even James Blunt were all hugely unpopular within industry circles. What's left of the record buying public clearly disagreed.

it's all about the gut and the conviction to believe in it.

once again no offence intended and your myspace is down.

Look it's simple, get the band with a great manager, get a good label on board, a good producer and then record some of their potential hits, get some good mixes, then it's down to the public, they are a charming bunch, i'm sure they'll win them over. They had a great song about getting busted with a parking ticket which i'm sure we could all relate to, when i saw them, it had a whistling solo in the middle 8, pure genius, was great, and very different. It won't be long before a label see's potential in this act.

Big End

Re:Blagg 17 Years, 4 Months ago
Now I've seen it all...Mart offered the deal, they turned it down, whatever they had going went pear shaped and now they're back.

See ya!
