Actually A-Ha and Duran and Macca provided some of the best second level Bond themes before they fell apart in recent years.

Like everything in this century the themes have been crap. But the films have gotten better and better - Dalton was OK, Brosnan was good, Craig is excellent.

A View To A Kill - very strong theme; below par movie.
