Last week I watched an interesting Oprah on Youtube and its stars. In and amongst them was Esme Denters.
Forgive me if i missed this but I don't think anyone mentioned her on this messageboard. Anyway she was snapped up by Justin Timberlake's new label. Her website is http://www.esmeeworld.com/.

What do you guys think of her ? and what about her decision to sign with Tenman/Interscope/Universal especially now Youtube are sharing video revenue.

Had a listen to her preview on Amazon and on some YT videos. Maybe a bit too Maria Carey re. her cramming too many notes in where one would do. Not a bad voice and she has some potential, but not enough to rise above the millions of others on the music scene.

She could have a successful career in clubs maybe.

That's only my opinion of course ... but ...
I'd have said the same about Mariah Carey and look at how well she's done.

I bailed out very quickly here - the Gnarls Barkley cover is dreadful, too much "business".

This is X Factor stuff... so she'll probably sell shed loads
