Just having a clearout in Core's music library, and had to listen again to a song we were totally convinced should have been a hit in 2004 - and hearing it again I'm certain someone should make it work.

"Hide", performed by Twen2y 4 Se7en (err.. yes, who?), written by Cates & Paige according to my PRS notes. An emotional pop power ballad of the highest order.

I think it was just the wrong time for the song, and the label (Diablo) meant well but couldn't get the group off the ground. I remember how awkward they looked on stage, torn between doing sensitive songs properly and being directed to pretend they were rock musicians in response to what marketing thought people wanted. Nobody bought the idea.

Re-done by the right solo performer, this should be a hit right now. (Just listening again for the fifth time now - I LOVE this song!) PLEASE someone get it done!
