He still looks great, fully functional, charming man - I met him several times (my God I've had a good life). BBC2 hour long tribute to him. One of the truly old brigade. A really heart warming show. I was never a huge fan but he was a very nice man and still comes across as one. And makes me think - there should be room for all types on TV these days. A bit of Doonican, some Sex Pistols, Beatles, Coolio, AC/DC, Howard Keel, Amy Winehouse - let's have them all please.
