I blame The Lancashire Hotpots!!!!! 17 Years, 2 Months ago
feeling a little peckish after being in and out of the studio all day, I decided to go to the local chippy. All the way there, I was singing, "Chippy Tea", and really looking forward to steak pie and chips.
To my utter horror, they had NO PIES LEFT! OUTRAGEOUS!
This is the fiendish work of Dickie Ticker et al. I know it, you know it and the whole world knows it. J'accuse!
I demand an immediate explanation and an unconditional apology. Don't think I'm going to let this one rest.
By the way, disinterested parties may, in the meantime, like to take a quick tour of website? www.leloftmusic.com/artistes

It`s interesting down here as the people I have played it to, really don`t understand the accent at all and find it more entertaining when they actually get the lyrics, which I have found is probably slightly later than you would expect at your neck of the woods.
Interesting thing, accents, my American friends think I am from Alabama by my accent, which is a strange thought!
I like the Lancastrian humour a lot, it is all consuming and the Hotpots represent it well, making the age old Southerner "grim up North " joke, the funniest of all by reversal.
Ok, you`ve got me, I`ll play the t`thing again one more time...!
