All good Dan, and ideal for Radio 2. Especially Ashley and The Matthew Bennett Band, I think they would both do very well on Radio 2 and it would be a good place to launch both acts.

Matthew Bennett Band, definitely. However, I still think that they need to gig regularly, get tight, do the album and then pick the single for R2 etc.

Sawn MAMAs GUN last night at CITY SHOWCASE - they are PLAYLISTED on RADIO 2 at the moment.

Superb new band who remind me at times of Philip Bailey ( Earth Wind and Fire )

When they rock out they had the whole venue dancing which on a wet Tuesday in Islington is quite an amazing thing !!!

Radio 2 seem to be breaking bigger than Radio 1 these days - what is wrong with Radio 1's playlist policy ?

Unfortunately they remind me more of Jamiroquai. Not too sure if the world's shouting out for another funk-lite band, or where they'd fit into the present UK marketplace.

Radio One is rather like the current government in that they are completely mis-reading the tide of public opinion. Oh well...
