Cheers for that Zoo, many thanks. I have to admit I assumed they were so obscure I didn`t even Google them, but as the album I have is on a major (MGM, not that you would notice by the fact that it appears to have been recorded in a cardboard box)I thought it was worth asking here.
Tonights show is being part recorded live, I shall post a link of the outcome.

btw, that really is a bad website isn`t it?

None of the listings there on the link, have the album I have here, which is stamped, dated and ultimately rejected by the BBC.
Some of the more obscure albums, are perfect examples of how the industry did not really discover mastering for a long time.
Bilbo and Porky probably rescued many a duff sounding record in the past but so many of the others just were stamped and banged out to the public.
I took back no less than 3 copies of "Diamond Dogs" by Bowie back in 1974 as they all jumped in the same place.
As people all download their free MP3s etc these days, wouldn`t it be nice if they gave us , the pioneering consumers a thought for our sufferences in the past and not just the artiste and mega major company, as we funded their current freebies too....?

This also works for the Myspace generation, they can`t afford to chuck out demoes anymore. All work for public perusal needs to be mastered and the programs are very cheap. Let people hear your undefined work at your peril!

It's good to see that someone else remembers Murray Roman - he had a couple of fabulous albums 'You Can't Beat People Up And Have Them Say I Love You', and the follow-up 'Blind Man's Movie'which came in a sleeve which was all black card, no liner notes at all !! They were released by Track records, home of The Who and Jimi Hendrix.
Those were the days !!

Fabulous albums available to hear online.

I'd been looking for Roman quite while - not knowing the album and spelling his name incorrectly didn't help much.

Found them now...

Oddly the Blindman LP (Which I am yet to hear) was on eBay for

No probs Zoo.

Horribly enough I will nick the thread back by announcing my non appearance tonight.
I fainted at 6 pm tonight and we pulled and I am sat at home feeling guilt.
Brain willing body not. Not fun, sorry to all those that turned up.
Total genuine bummer.

Fainted?

Nothing drastic I hope, that's a bit much innit.

While we're at it... I'm actually feeling well.

(I'm not sure if I'm really posting this or having some bizarre dream )
