Something rather strange and yet heartwarming is poised to happen in the Album Chart this week. An album which has very little airplay, but terrific reviews will debut in the top 10, selling around 18k.So the press can occasionally influence matters. It is a truly lovely record and takes its influence from C,S& N,The Cowboy Junkies, My Morning Jacket-another band with a great new release incidentally.
On the subject of radio play, this record would have featured on the Virgin Show 'Captain America', what happened to the Captain and is he on air in the sticks somewhere?
He or something like it is needed once more with all the great stuff coming out of USA and Canada. Bob Harris spreads it too thin.
