Great basic performances happening as we watch.
Keep us all informed on this project. Do we get more studio video blogs?
There is no substitute for the music librarian for watching this stuff happen from scratch.

I like.

Although, there's not much you can say about one little snippet from a track.

Turn up the lights when you record the vid next time.

this does indeed look very promising. About time we had a promising female singer that actually knows how to work to camera. Very nice tune.

Close you're eyes. It could be Victoria Beckham. Too many off key moments for me to really enjoy.

Mmmm, if she makes half as much money as Ms. Beckham, I would think all involved will be delighted. I think it's got universal appeal and I quite like it.

I think she is a cool lady with TV etc prospects to come along with her records.
A personality, and these are becoming rare.

Am I missing something here?
It is a poorly scanned lyric, poor melody, and singing that would take a LOT of work to turn into an acceptable Vocal.

Is this the state of the British Music Business that this is regarded as "Promising" ?

Fair Play to the girl for effort ,she comes across as a genuinely nice person but lets not get carried away here about the MUSIC !

I'm amazed this is being tipped here

Can't think of a positive thing to say about it... but let's just say she's not a singer

Well if you can't think of a positive thing to say, why did you even bother?

I don't agree. I think that "All About Us" is wonderful song, which is sung from the heart. In case you haven't noticed, audiences love that.

I could list a whole raft of singers who are downright weak, Dido and Chris Martin to name but two, who have gone on to international stardom and mega sales.

I totally agree...

I think the credibility of this board is at stake if this is the sort of thing that is being tipped.

I do not usually post any negative criticism of any acts who have the courage to post here. It takes balls to do it and, due to my own lack of courage I NEVER tip any of my own stuff here.

However, I could point to at least 5 reasons why this is average. The most blindingly obvious reason is that the vocal is woefully flat. From the very first line and throughout the song. My advice (as a singer myself) would be to focus on the vox as the instrumentation and arrangements seem ok.

I fully support this board's ideals, in that the cynical and bitter posts that punctuate other industry boards are not welcomed here.

However, if board regulars are to lend any kind of worthwhile advice, then a little bit of honesty would be much better than these bland and woolly responses.

Having said all that, Paisley I wish you the best of luck.
