British Sea Power for me. I played it last night on headphones, in the dark (as you do!), such incredible atmosphere.
Whoever mastered the vocals deserves an award too, there is obviously rather a quiet voice going on with a very loud band there, it takes true skill to make a gorgeous album with that amount of light and shade contrast going on.
At one point, there is a fantastic and soooo anticipated guitar solo, which makes any writer/producer scream "why didn`t I think of that!!??"
One day, BSP, will be bigger than Coldplay and lyrically , already superior, but I do have a soft spot for odd , unusual lyrics.

Full marks on a cardboard cd sleeve too. I hate "jewel" cases.
