They used to be The Vacancy and were brilliant, original with at least two huge global hits.

Then they signed to Epic and went into the MAJORS machine. Changed their name, music (sounds like it used to but nowhere near as good), did the usual street team, My Space buildup, have just started a UK tour... everything, in fact, is in place - for the OLD MODEL.

Almost the perfect example of how they used to do it.

But is it working? I like the lads though the single is very ordinary (think weak Click 5 copy). Sony must have spent a fortune putting all the old style bricks in place. But not a whisper in the midweeks.

Any thoughts? I still play She Walks Right Through Me. It's terrific and fresh and energetic. A song about falling in love with a ghost.
