TOPIC: X Factor Week Two

X Factor Week Two 16 Years, 10 Months ago
and I have to say the nausea kicked in - a week earlier than usual - and I went into a deep sleep half way through (in the middle of the obligatory "Let's send Louis up" section).

Boring, predictable, superficial crap.

I loved it when it started X years ago.

A sob story is essential to get to the next round. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I have to say that I'm still addicted, contrived as it may be.
There was a young Irish kid on last night named Eoghan and his rendition of Clapton's 'Tears in Heaven' was just great - it started the goosebumps !
It only needs one moment like that to make the show worthwhile.

I liked Eoghan but I wish he'd chosen a different song. For Clapton this was a song with personal meaning. For everyone else it's just that dull song which everybody tries to sing.

The guy with the sob story actually had a good voice, but I'd be almost tempted to reject people who came on with such a story, especially when they ask us not to feel sorry for them. Just do the audition!

Last year I quite enjoyed the early stages because of the awful "Gong Show" content, but this year the novelty is wearing off much faster.
