This is very sad news. I believe he was personal friends with, and played polo with HRH The Prince Of Wales.
Indeed very sad coming so soon after Richard Wright's passing since Bryan Morrison had much involvement with the early Pink Floyd.
It was with The Pretty Things - whom he studied alongside at college - that he first got into management and publishing, very quickly got himself established. He certainly had plenty to work with and got them much publicity and provoked elements of outrage with the extreme lengths of Phil May's hair and their rather rough looks and wild reckless nature which were almost Sci-Fi back in 1964.
This will come as a blow to The Pretty Things themselves since they remained on good terms with Bryan and Phil May and other members would regularly sit with him in hospital. Earlier this year we lost Norman Smith, their producer of much of their finest work and of course we also lost Bo Diddley who was their biggest inspiration and gave them their name... and now Bryan. The Pretty Things see themselves as a close knit "family" and to lose three such members of that family in one year... worse, two of the members wives have been battling cancer as well...
My thoughts and condolences are with all those who knew him.
