Is there any need for this kind of thing? Really insulting to one of our greatest songwriters. Thankfully Ray handles himself ok but what a coward the DJ is to spout off live on air over one of the best songs ever. The BBC should be ashamed of themselves. This w **ker keeps getting absurdly bad press and yet is constantly defended by Lesley Douglas; He isn't that a bad DJ but he has a lousy concept of mixing his idea of humour and being controversial for its sake.A quick check round here gives him a rounding thumbs down. This Ray Davies interview didn't help.
