Streets of London was great.

Met him once, he was pushing his luggage etc at the airport (can`t recall which one), we all said "Hi Ralph!", but he was obviously understandably wanting to say goodbye to his , what was probably his family.
3 (?) years before "Streets of London" was a hit, my uncle taught me it on guitar after seeing Ralph play it somewehere, it is an all time classic.A great writer and a lovely chilled and none strained voice.

Saw Ralph McTell playing live on BBC4 a few weeks ago. I bought a single of his in the 1980s called England, but it wasn't a hit.
