absolutely awful. Flop song, no voice, quite ghastly.

I am so embarassed for him. The way he dealt with the interview was terrible. The song is very "Buble' " Too good for the wee troll.

Leon, dear, the talentless Scottish boy, not Leona, the slightly talented girl that Simon (or Sonny) found a hit song for!

Oh yes I'd forgotten Leon. So easily done. A very nice boy in his audition. The image they created for him didn't suit him at all.

I just caught Leon on the repeat of the X Factot final while switching channels. Why has he developed this irritating little 'ants in the pants' jiggle? It's very irritating. I still think he sang better before the experts got hold of him.

Very funny!

There's a reasonably good indie band out there called Leon (check "Be There"). I was wondering what sort of career move brought them onto the show.

Leon are an OK Indie band, although I do find them a bit dreary. "Hope" is possibly my favourite track on their Myspace, but I don't think they are destined to set the world on fire just yet.

I'm afraid to me LEON still means a great Jean Reno movie.

Having listened to their MySpace tunes I think they are rather good - surely a local band for you, Anthony?

They are not one for me at all I`m afraid.
I`m afraid I don`t like anything about the music, I`m sure they are very nice people, but you will never please all.

Indeed, JK, though I must admit I had not heard of them. I may catch them some time.

I couldn't agree more. I would just add - he looked like a frightened rabbit. I found it excruciating.
And yet .... the judges stood and applauded and the audience went wild - incredible!

Can't we start something to get this rubbish programme off our primetime Saturday night viewing.

You can count me in as well. Take that "Strictly Come Dancing" rubbish off as well. Why is it these two boring programmes straddle the Autumn and Winter schedules with all the spin off results and behind the scenes shows to drag it out, rub it in and waste precious TV time?

Like the loathsome "Big Brother" these shows were fine for the first series but both are tired, lame and wholly irrelevant. I think the X Factor are struggling to produce any "good stories" this year with things like staged "walkouts" by a judge or two.

I'm hoping that George Michael will release this Christmas song he say's he's written. I think that's about the only serious chance of possibly ensuring whatever wins X Factor from getting the coveted Xmas number 1 slot this year. That was a great tradition which that show has ruined in recent years. It's time we saw a major return of seasonal songs and novelty records instead of some hyped up TV fluff.
