FAB Chart - New look and New Number One 16 Years, 8 Months ago
The first page includes a featured Youtube video. There is also a new page for regular Fabbers with links to web sites of acts who've appeared on the chart more than once.

Rob Harding has shot up to the top with Orwellian Rhapsody, uneating young Charlie Green.

Reflecting current affairs, Mike Oldfield's Blue Peter theme comes in at 10.

Wonderful song by Smudgie at 16. This reminds me a lot of Yes.

Kev Eustace has a topical accoustic song at 18 called Pennies. Not very long, but quite enjoyable.

Mike Gatto at 19 has a touch of elegance with his Candlelit Romance.

Good to see Chicory Tip moving up well.

Some quality music in this week's chart.

UnSeating, surely, Cat?

I can't think of an example of uneating, unless it's being sick.

A good old fashioned typo, JK.

I read it through before posting but, as usual, saw what I wanted to see.

Uncle Rob's gone Punk? 16 Years, 8 Months ago
Actually he'll be about the same age as many of the original British Punk artists, so it shouldn't be a surprise. I like the Orwellian Rhapsody, especially the changes in tempo. It's funny and entertaining but also quite sad when you know the truth that it refects.

That Smudgie song is a bit like Yes, but she doesn't quite match Jon Anderson. Good song though.

I had to go listen. I don't think the Rob Harding track is quite punk rock, but it would have gone down well in that era.

I'll add my support for the Smudgie track, but I do also like the simplicity of Pennies.

I like Ghosts in Chains - Smudgie

The Blue Peter thing was quite odd to hear again. I now feel old

I think Rob is about 63, the drummer sounds a bit younger to me though! An incredible fill in the middle of the song.
