Love it Mart - "You don't really wanna know how they get those prices so low" - great guitar at the end, and wonderful video too.

Right on; I'm with you.

TV was always been one of fave singers and I love seeing how he has used his older age to usage in dynamics about a subject which really fits today.

His "news reader" scenes are just fantastic also, this is a very exciting piece of work from the "Looking Through Gary Gilmores Eyes " man. Once a singer, writer and performer , it should never go away, if it should, become an estate agent or something, or continue to kick and scream like TV does.

I love this tune so much and oddly enough, with a tune like this, which I would normally have wished I had written, I actually wished my Dad had written it, and thats what I want for Xmas.

Ooh yes, Mart. Just staggered in from the pub and listened to that. Love it. Excellent stuff.

Sadly, I suspect me loving it is some sort of kiss of death. That's the sort of thing UK should be putting in the Eurovision.

I wouldn't buy it. I doubt I'd even accept a free copy. Not a bad song in a pub singer-ish sort of way, but I couldn't survive the full track.

Sorry, Mart. To each his own.

Oh, he looks sooo old!

It seems like yesterday but it was more than 31 years ago that I saw the Adverts opening for The Damned (Sundown Discotheque, August 77)

What ever happened to Gaye Advert?

I think that you will find that Gaye Advert has a job with her local council or something, she definetly quit music.
