JLS magnificent on X Factor... 16 Years, 7 Months ago
A terrific (and possibly winning) version of Working My Way Back To You Babe which was an OK hit version for The Spinners but a superb smash (like Beggin') for The Four Seasons in the 60s.
I must beg younger visitors to check out the Seasons back catalogue (anyone remember a strange album with The Wonder Who with numerous stunning tracks on it?).
For me, Bob Crewe is one of the great, legendary producers, hugely under rated (I keep nagging Steve Levine to do a Record Producers on him).

I only dipped into the show as it is now so boring and predictable; it only warrants watching during breaks in other shows and I watched HEAT instead.
Although (getting senile) I find it impossible to tell between De Niro and Pacino - virtually the same names, look the same, act the same...
Mind you, in Heat, that was the point.
I featured the first ever Michael Mann moment (the pilot of Miami Vice) on Ent USA and it was revolutionary in the 80s. Looks rather standard fare these days.
How times change.
X Factor - another talentless boy got dumped, beating a talentless woman (with a sad back story - who hasn't?).

I rememeber the Miami Vice episode very well. It was cutting edge at the time. "To live and die in L.A. " was another sleeper hit you previewed.
