has anyone heard of this wonderful man?

I am listening to his album "La Radiolina" I've loved him for years but only recently realised he is one of the biggest selling artists in the world... "who he?" you ask lol

Joe Strummer described him as the future of punk/new wave and he has also been likened to Bob Marley. He sings out for human rights and against globalisation.

He is half French/half Spanish and sings in both languages as well as English sometimes. His music is a wonderful amalgam of styles from different countries, and he is a very sexy man lol

Brilliant. And he manages the difficult balancing act of being politically active and making music that girls can bop to. Definitely one of the best acts out there.
