DUFFY, a strange girl; Mercy was brilliant and I rather liked Warwick Avenue but this new one sounds to me like a remake, slower, of Mercy and there is something in her voice that is very odd. Great arrangement and orchestration on the new track but like you my first thought was it was a pastiche of Mercy. Also thought her voice was a bit screechy at times which is something she has a tendency to do.
