The Sun carries the story that the five biggest selling global albums of 2008 were by Coldplay, Amy, AC/DC, Duffy and Leona - all Brits.

How true this story is may be questionable but it's good to read positive stories.

When I was running a weekly Bizarre page in the 80s and early 90s I made sure 80% of my leads were positive. Apart from anything else, it made the negative slag offs have more impact.
