Visited a NEW live venue in HOXTON - on OLD STREET last night.
Worth considering as well.
SOUTH OF THE BORDER
Under the EL PASO Mexican Restaurant and Bar. A basement venue with two areas and stage which can hold around 150 people.
Decor is reminiscent of the old Rock Garden but it has high ceilings therefore it has room for several projectors which give it quite an interesting vibe.
New PA sysem put into the venue and fully speccd.

A wide range of musical styles are catered for from indie to americana to rock. Some poetry stuff is also going in there I was told.
Great position on Old Street and the Chilli in the restaurant is cheap and very filling. Bands get discounts.
Well worth considering if you want to play next to Hoxton Bars but in a venue which is vibey and not too big. A very good addition to the London Live Music scene.
The lighting rig goes into the venue in the next couple of weeks which will complete a very tidy set up.
