Petty last year was a treat, but this was an absolute genuine joy. Bruce live is an event in any case, Born To Run one of the few classics that is just not done justice by the studio version and has to be heard live for maximum impact. To see him play on a stage that is already part of a massive event makes it even more special.

Best ever live band I have seen have to be SLADE. I have seen almost everyone as well in the last 30 years.....but not Bruce - and I must admit he possibly is the best. Best Brooooce gig for me was Meadowlands New Jersey (his local stadium) with the late great Roger Scott - we had such a terrific time.
