I really like it.

It has a great vibe for 2009. Stick it on the IPOD/MP3 player and walk around Camden Market or some other bustling place and it will make sense

It captures the mood perfectly of now - which for me is the litmus test of good pop. But like all good pop it is and should be throwaway.

In your day, sales a lot LOWER! Yes, titles at the top of the charts sold more, but there wasn't the choice or number of releases. Also, I love the Lily single, and most of the album too - The lyrics are interesting, decent production, and she does have an infectious voice. Sales are definitely on the up though - three years ago 20k might have got you number 1 these days you're lucky to scrape top 10. 46k is quite low for a #1 at the moment this year it's been nearer 60k on average.
