He is pretty and the tried and trusted 90s trick of using a violin is fine but it's not a hit and judging by the info it's not yet the official entry, is it?
Re:Norway's eurovision entry... pretty boy... folk song 16 Years, 3 Months ago
Iffy lyrics for sure, but that doesn't matter a great deal at Eurovision. He's a good performer, the song is highly effective, if rather contrived, and it ticks most of the required boxes for a lot of votes.
Potential winner? I'll be holding fire on any comments of that nature for some time yet.

so far it looks like it is not the strongest of contests therefore something like norway's entry will do well but greece will take all the beating, the last time sakis sang for greece although he finished third i believe he received votes from every country

The greeks always assume their "megastar" will win eurovision. The hype over Anna Vissi in 2006 was ridiculous and she came nowhere. Sakis' song is awful, very dated all too familiar lyrics and tune.
The 300,000 Greeks in North London will ensure it gets the most from the televote but juries won't be impressed with this.

i seem to remember a greek entry a couple of years back, the guy could hardly sing but it stll finished in the top 6
sakis will be thereabouts
as for anan vissi, i was in athens and all the greeks i spoke to were not impressed with her and thought she would fail
mutton dressed as lamb doesn't do well in eurovision
