A band who had hits before they signed to a major label, changed their name, wrote some okay songs, got dropped and now return to form. You must agree JK.
Totally agree that they had a couple of dead cert global smashes before they got Raphaeled - change of name and image and sound all disastrous - new single sounds a bit better but not great and that awful major label/greed thing of just putting a bit of it online so it can't get stolen (money we want money) does more harm than good, as does the predictable marketing "build up a street team/fan base" philosophy behind the project.
Doomed I fear - the moment passed; the time has gone.
It would have been hard to break them 3 years ago - they sounded massively American soft rock, like Click 5 - but they had one huge hit (She Walked...) and another followup - sad.
I think you'll find they are no longer with a major label, they have setup up their own label called rubix records, and are self releasing everything from now on.
Actually I went to their site to see what the fuss was abount. I agree annoyingly the sample of the single was short. But then noticed that they had the full length video which had the whole track.
Rather like it....
