Sometimes the FAB Chart surprises me. This week we see Natasha Richardson as a new entry with "Maybe this Time" from Cabaret. I hadn't realised she was such a good singer.
Also new in are Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Nothing dated about their sound. Easy but cool Jazz with that awesome trumpet from Louis.
David Rith's song at 20 is fairly nice, but a little too long without any real hook to keep you on board. It just depends on your mood.
Highest new entry goes to Martin Kitcher with "Pedro". How is Mart, btw?
At Number One is Pete Rivers. I'm still not sure if I like this song or not. I can listen to it easily enough, I don't know if I'd pay for the privilage. I prefer UB40's "End of War" which remains at 2.
A good climb for Booby Trap.
Also, a really good young band in the featured video. I took FAB's advice and watched the drummer. Awesome talent for his age.
