I always found her voice very pleasant. BBC4 does provide us with music we don't hear on other channels. I enjoyed a Steeley Span concert a few weeks ago, and I hear they featured Val Doonican recently. My favourite BBC4 music special was John Lee Hooker and friends. I don't know of any other mainstream TV channels which feature Jazz or Blues.
