Surprise high new entry is Barry McGuire's "Eve of Destruction" which seems as relevent today as it ever was. "When human respect is disintegrating. This whole crazy world is just too frustrating!"

Then there's Rah Band's "The Crunch" nudging in at 18, reminding us of the economy.

Other new entries come from Zack Borer with a funky kinda love song called "Love can grab Ahold", and Uncle Shaker with a slice of folky pop called "40 Steps to Rhona". Of these two I think Zack Borer entertained me the most, but I like them both.

Mart remains at the top, while Adam Foster leaps to 8 with his pawn shop guitar song.

Cool chart worth a listen.

Always good to hear Barry and the great PF Sloan (still recording) who wrote it but surely the greatest protest songs ever were Everyone's Gone To The Moon and It's Good News Week?

The second is even more appropriate in the light of the "good news" this week at the G20.
