what do you lot on this board make of Karima Francis? Think she's succeed?

Just watched her on Jools. Thought it was a nice song, not sure about the vocal live. She's got a very unique look though. Like a female version of bob dylan

here you go jk

Established in 1982. Kitchenware Records began as the recording wing of The Soul Kitchen, a once in a blue moon club which hosted the likes of Aztec Camera, The Fire Engines and New Order. The somewhat unconventional playlist extended from The Velvets through Orange Juice to Parliament and a Soul Kitchen night would often feature a film show or a photo gallery rather than a support act. The label would be equally eclectic

Over nearly 25 years Kitchenware Records has been home to acts such as the much lauded Hurrah, the hitmaking Kane Gang, virtuoso songwriter Paddy McAloon’s Prefab Sprout, the renowned Martin Stephenson & The Daintees, the powerful Fatima Mansions and more recently the critically acclaimed platinum selling Editors.

Alongside Editors, other current acts on Kitchenware’s ever diverse roster include kid:coda, Sirens, The Motorettes The Changes, Waiting For Volkaerts and Karima Francis.

She is far too prone to shouting as opposed to singing.

I really like her too, but I agree with SW I wish she'd control the shouting a bit as she has a lovely voice if she brings it out more gently. On record it l=sounds great but live she has a tendancy to shout.

JK, Kitchware records has a marketing and distribution deal with Sony.
