It was the new chart on BBC Ceefax last night. I noticed Bill Withers was in at 40.

The chart is sadly dead in the water except for industry interest. The public want to see the Christmas Number One race - though that has been devalued by X Factor and that is about it these days.

I have not even heard the Tynchy track yet - and I work in music full time and listen to radio etc.

Radio 1 still have not done it yet - some of their charts take until Tuesday to update by the way on the site - cutbacks because they are all being employed at the BBC to help Gordon Brown and his election campaign ( who is on NEWS 24 as I type this !!! )

I used to be obsessed with the charts when I was a kid but since I hit 20 there just doesn't seem to be anything real in there anymore and I am totally out of touch with music now.
