The best record of the year so far? 15 Years, 10 Months ago
I think I might go for Lily Allen's Fuck You which, as I mentioned in May, is getting blanket exposure on top French station NRJ (their equivalent of Radio One).
It sounds marvellous, uncensored.
I also wonder whether there's a problem with us in the UK when French radio can be so much better. A big feature on, and interview with, Tony Joe White and his wonderful Polk Salad Annie on prime time French radio? You'd never hear that in Britain.

Couldn't agree more. I love the Lily Allen track. Can't see it beinmg played on UK radio though. Also, Tony joe white is so underrated. I got into his music when I heard Groupie Girl in about 1970. It was on an album called simply "Tony Joe" on the Monument label, marketed/distributed by Decca. As it was Decca, were you involved JK?
