District 9. Out over here in September. The critics have been a bit cool but fan reviews have been very good. A 9.1 rating on IMDB is mega high for a film with no stars and South African accents. Sounds amazing. Comments from the USA say it is incredible all over the net. Very unique plot makes it stand out from most films in the Science Fiction genre. Its dropped to an 8.9 but that still makes it on the top five films rated on IMDB. The films budget was 30 million dollars. It took 37 million in its first weekend.With ten spaces for the best picture Oscars this year its bound to get a nod.
