Music publisher Freddy Bienstock (Hill and Range, Elvis) has died 15 Years, 9 Months ago
He started as a stock-room clerk at Chappell when he was 14.

In 1983 he bought Chappell (from PolyGram) for $100 million. Four years later he sold the compyany (to Time Warner) for $285 million.

I bet neither Edgar Bronfman Jr. nor Guy Hands know anything about this music titan.

Met him several times; always liked and admired him and I think he felt the same for me.
