I guess you could argue that Cheryl Cole might not have had such a big hit if not for the X-Factor. Therefore, she might not have had a big hit without her connection to Simon Cowell. I mean, Girls Aloud were originally managed by Louis, so did Simon have them on his label as he did Westlife? And now Louis isn't managing them, does he still have some kind of percentage somewhere and does Simon?
