FAB Chart - 5 new 15 Years, 6 Months ago
Scott Slater finally gets a FAB Number One with 'A Million Chances'. You can hear the Beatles influence, but he also has his own identity and writes some excellent songs.

Princesses come in at 4 with 'Blue Bird'. This was Georgia's entry into the Junior Eurovision. It's an intelligent blend of Classical and Pop which was possibly too high brow for the Eurovision.

In at 8 comes Justin Bieber with 'One Less Lonely Girl'. He has an excellent voice which is wasted on mundane R&B. No doubt he'll make pots of money, but there's no way he'll realise his full potential hanging around with the likes of Usher and Diddy. He needs more of a challenge.

Taken By Trees come in at 14. This is probably my favourite of the new entries. 'Sweet Child o Mine' given a light and airy acoustic twist - as featured on the John Lewis TV advert.

The fist Christmas song of 2009 to enter the FAB Chart is at 16. 'Christmas Lights' by Jason Mitchell. It could maybe use a kids choir to glisten it up, but it's very enjoyable.

And at 19 we have another Christmas number, this time by MUD II. 'When Holly Rocks' is a decent slice of Rock n Roll, and these guys do justice to the original line up.

Glad to see Edward Woodward climb into the Top 10.
