Interesting X Factor figures 15 Years, 6 Months ago

For those who followed the X-Factor:

Interestingly, in all but 1 week the person with the least votes went - even when the judges had a say.

And in the one week they chose the one in the bottom two who wasn’t last, Jedward went, when it should have been Olly.

And, last night Joe won with 61.3% of the votes.

Ah yes; But as you well know, this matter , if widely noticed as a joker in the pack, could in fact be a further trump card as the public debate whether or not the "ball really crossed the line" for decades to come. They are certainly talking about the music that Simon wants them to be talking about. That's not quite the same as talking about music in general. The new and the original are still sidelined. The last person to really encourage an interest in new musical talent was John Peel.

The X Factor moulds new names into clones of old names and embeds them into old standard formats. Nothing to get excited about.
