Only negative so far is that the cover is so blatant it's embarrassing to read it in public. Just what I like, of course; one lady was so offended she moved compartments on a train. Sadly it wasn't moving at the time!
Oh no, Intrigued, I've never liked being admired by those who don't know me. I like being loved by those who do but I genuinely don't care about those who form opinions built on lack of real knowledge. It's always been the case. Nobody else dared criticise Bob Geldof.
I'm taking my time reading it, and I'm currently on page 400. It gets more interesting as I proceed, but that's probably because the early chapters cover JK's education and I wasn't at school or university with the author!
Some terrific responses and reviews from friends and strangers but today the first really negative one from Bob Woffinden - friend and terrific writer himself - who found it "a dreadful book".
And did go into 40 pages of specifics (of which I'm ashamed to say I agreed with 80%!).
