Not really surprised to find Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes as a new entry with 'Don't leave me this Way' after the death of Teddy Pendergrass, and John Miles in with 'Music' after some kind of new interest in said track.

The is a new No.1. 15 year old Russian singer Vlad Krutskikh with his English language version of 'Hello Hello'. The video reminds me of the Rubettes for some reason. Maybe it's his hat and the way they move. A very simple but bright and uplifting song.

Jordan Jansen holds second and third, so the youth dominate - but Teddy and John are breathing down their necks.

In at 14 are Endless Knot with 'Walk with Me'. I love this. It ticks all the right boxes for me. You just have to listen to appreciate it.

Rachael Calladine at 16 with 'La La Li' is quite lively, but it doesn't grab me enough to stay in my memory. Just one of those songs you can enjoy while it lasts.

I quite like Beatastic at 18. 'Sugar my Coffee' is a title I can relate to. Vocals need some polish but it's an okay number. One that will grow on me, I think.

Once more, a varied and fun filled music chart. Nicely fills a gap on Saturday mornings.

Ooh. I like the song in the video, but which Abba song does it remind me of?

Why do we not hear any new songs from John Miles these days? Is he still writing? Anyone know?

Love the Number One. Give that boy a few more years and he'll be a real heart throb. I think it's safe to say it that way.
