This incredible, fantastic French film on BBC4 last night (see Your Views) had some wonderful music in it including an stunning version of Lilac Wine which I only knew from Elkie Brooks but now discover was by Jeff Buckley which yet again brings up the wankiness of UK music executives - why on earth wasn't this rushed out to follow up his Hallelujah last year? Are all Sony A&R people - and top execs - totally mad? Answer please Ged Doherty or Rob Stringer. Or are you all too busy french kissing Miss Cowell?
