FAB Chart - Boy George 15 Years, 3 Months ago

I'm not very taken with the new Boy George single "Amazing Grace", but it's entered the FAB Chart at No.16. Quite a groovy video though.
At No.13, the highest new entry comes from the Kentucky Headhunters with "Dumas Walker". This is more to my liking, but the FAB Chart does seem to be about variety in music, which is cool.
A rather nice ballad by Chloe Temtching called "Ice Cream" possibly hints at the approach of Spring at No.18.
Good old Gilbert O'Sullivan is at No.20 with "Two's Company (Three is Allowed)". I remember this one marking his return to form a few years back. Not sure why it's suddenly popped up on the FAB Chart, but I do like it.
Kalai spends a second week at No.1, and the first of the England World Cup songs nudges up to No.5.

A tipping service can never have credibility without some degree of transparency.
Surely the most important thing is whether the music being tipped is good or not. That is purely for the listener to decide. It's why we have ears.
I do not run the FAB Chart but I report on it here, with JK's permission. However, it's not true that it is only featured on this site. Over the last few years it's been mentioned in several myspace vlogs, gets discussed on twitter where it has it's own page, and a few artists who have been featured in the chart have included it in their websites.
It does seem to have a mainly young audience who just find it a fun kinda cult thing to follow and who probably couldn't give a stuff about where it fits into the major music scene, if at all.
It's something you either appreciate or you don't. If you don't then you leave it alone (a bit like curry). It's not compulsory and does no harm. For me, part of it's quirky charm is that I have no idea about the who or what or why. Like Emma, I've found some interesting new sounds through it. That alone makes it worthwhile, and I remember Mart once posting on here about how an American DJ had become interested in an Uncle Rob Harding track (produced by Mart) after hearing it on the FAB Chart.
Does the quality of a piece of music depend on whether we know the person who told us about it? "Hey I heard about this song while at the train station but I didn't see which person was talking about it so it can't be any good."

Is this banner headline stuff.
VILE PERVERT LINKED TO ONLINE MUSIC CHART CONTROVERSY
It would be a loose link, and not much of a controversy, but the sheep would happily eat the artificial grass.
Ooooh! I have an idea! If people want to know about the FAB Chart, why don't they email them direct? Or might that risk exposing an identity that the emailer might want kept secret?

Goodbye Everybody
Message to Emma Bee - I would E Mail but there's no contact details on their website. My E mail is bourneman@hotmail.co.uk and keeping my identity secret isn't/wasn't a concern, I just hate hypocrisy.
