Highest new entry this week comes from Dan and Dan at No.14 with "The Daily Mail Song", tipped on here if I recall correctly. It's fun.
In at No.17 are the A+ Dropouts with "Someone New". In some ways this is awful, but having lived through the 80s Indie scene I can also see how it fits perfectly with that genre. Bad enough to be good Indie.
The Wurzels with "I am a Cider Drinker" comes in at No.19. Whether this is due to interest created by a certain Facebook campaign I'm not sure. It's happy and bouncy and could be a hit in any decade if the public would lighten up a bit and enjoy the fun side of music more.
Barry McGuire has this week's highest climber, going up eight places to No.6 with "Don't Rubbish the Children".
Jordan Jansen and Emily Harder grab the top spot with "Maybe/Baby". A fairly decent bit of TeenyBop.
The sun is in the blue sky this Saturday morning and the FAB Chart brings us some cheery sounds to fit the occasion. Nice.
