Hugh is fine; he has ongoing inherited health problems but keeps them in check with sensible diet and exercise. Conroy was on top form and put me on the phone to mutual friend Ray Still who once called me from EMI with "something I think is a hit and the lead singer sounds like you". It was West End Girls by the Pet Shop Boys.
